The Global Journal of Food and Agribusiness Management acknowledges the importance of authorship rights. Authors retain the moral and intellectual rights to their works while granting the journal the non-exclusive right to distribute, reproduce, and publish the content. This ensures that authors maintain ownership while allowing the journal to make articles available to a broader audience. Authors are encouraged to use and share their work for educational and non-commercial purposes, such as in conferences or academic repositories, provided appropriate citation is given to the journal. Additionally, authors have the right to receive feedback from the editorial board regarding any editorial changes made to their manuscript, ensuring transparency throughout the publication process. The journal also supports the reusability of research under a Creative Commons license, as applicable, fostering a collaborative and open scientific community.
2. Licensing Policy
The licensing policy of the Global Journal of Food and Agribusiness Management is centered on openness and accessibility. All articles are licensed under a Creative Commons license, ensuring that content is freely accessible to researchers, practitioners, and the public. Authors can choose specific licensing agreements that align with their needs, such as CC BY (Attribution), CC BY-SA (Attribution-ShareAlike), or CC BY-NC (Attribution-NonCommercial). These licenses allow users to share, adapt, and utilize the work under the terms specified, ensuring the protection of intellectual property rights. Licensing agreements are clearly stated at the time of submission and must be agreed upon before publication. This policy ensures the ethical use of published materials while enabling innovation and dissemination of knowledge.
3. APC Waiver Policy
The journal is committed to supporting researchers worldwide, especially those from low-income countries and institutions with limited funding. To facilitate equitable access, the Article Processing Charge (APC) Waiver Policy allows authors to request partial or full waivers during submission. Waiver applications are evaluated based on the country of origin, institutional support, and the merits of the research. Priority is given to authors from countries listed in the Research4Life initiative or similar programs. This ensures that financial constraints do not hinder the publication of high-quality research. Authors are encouraged to submit supporting documentation when applying for waivers.
4. Open Access Policy
The Global Journal of Food and Agribusiness Management operates on an open-access model, ensuring all published content is freely available online without subscription fees. This promotes the dissemination of research to a global audience, removing barriers for readers and increasing the visibility of authors' work. Under this policy, readers can access, download, and share articles without restrictions, provided proper attribution is given. Open access aligns with the journal's mission of fostering innovation in food and agribusiness management through accessible knowledge dissemination.
5. Copyright Policy
The Global Journal of Food and Agribusiness Management ensures that authors retain the copyright of their published work while granting the journal the right to publish, distribute, and archive the articles. This policy allows authors to reuse their work for educational, scholarly, or non-commercial purposes, provided proper acknowledgment of the original publication is included. Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors are required to sign a copyright agreement, specifying these terms. The journal may also use the content for indexing, promotion, or related purposes while adhering to copyright laws. By ensuring authors' intellectual property rights, this policy fosters trust and ethical use of published works.
6. Withdrawal Policy
Manuscripts can only be withdrawn under specific circumstances. Authors are encouraged to carefully consider submissions to avoid unnecessary withdrawals. If authors wish to withdraw a manuscript after submission, a formal written request must be sent to the editorial office, explaining the reasons. Withdrawal after acceptance may incur penalties, as it disrupts the editorial workflow and resources invested by the journal. Unauthorized or unethical withdrawals, such as to submit the work elsewhere, may result in restrictions on future submissions. The policy ensures fairness and accountability for all parties involved in the publication process.
7. Participant/Patient Privacy and Informed Consent
The journal adheres to strict ethical standards regarding the privacy of participants and patients involved in research. Authors must ensure that any data or images used in their studies are de-identified to protect the privacy of individuals. For research involving human participants, informed consent must be obtained and documented. A statement confirming ethical approval from an institutional review board or equivalent authority is mandatory for submission. The journal reserves the right to request supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with international ethical guidelines.
8. Data Sharing Policy
The Global Journal of Food and Agribusiness Management promotes transparency and reproducibility in research. Authors are encouraged to share the raw data underlying their studies in a publicly accessible repository or as supplementary material, ensuring proper citation. Exceptions may be made if sharing data compromises confidentiality or proprietary interests. Authors must provide a data availability statement in their manuscript, specifying where and how the data can be accessed. This policy fosters collaboration and accelerates scientific discovery.
9. Submission of Manuscript
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system. Authors should ensure their manuscript adheres to the journal's formatting and ethical guidelines before submission. Submissions must include all required components, such as the title page, abstract, main text, references, and supplementary materials, where applicable. The journal does not accept simultaneous submissions to multiple outlets. Non-compliance may result in rejection without review.
10. Article Processing Charge (APC)
The journal requires authors to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance to cover the costs of editorial processing, peer review, and open access publication. APCs are transparently communicated to authors during the submission process. The journal also offers waiver options for authors from low-income countries or institutions lacking funding, ensuring inclusivity and equity in publishing.
11. Author’s Agreement Form
Before publication, all contributing authors must complete an agreement form confirming their contributions, intellectual rights, and adherence to the journal’s ethical standards. The form ensures that all authors have reviewed and approved the manuscript and accept responsibility for its content. This process also clarifies issues related to authorship, conflicts of interest, and copyright transfer, fostering accountability and transparency.
12. English Language Editing

This policy demonstrates the journal’s commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards.
14. Human and Animal Rights Policy
Research involving humans or animals must adhere to ethical guidelines. Authors found guilty of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, may face penalties, including rejection or retraction of their work and banning from future submissions. Proper attribution and citation of sources are strictly enforced to maintain academic integrity.
16. Errata, Retractions, and Corrigenda Policy
To uphold the accuracy and reliability of published research, the journal addresses errors through errata (for minor corrections), corrigenda (for author-initiated corrections), and retractions (for significant errors or ethical breaches). The editorial board investigates reports of errors or misconduct thoroughly before issuing appropriate notices.
17. Digital Preservation
The journal employs robust digital preservation strategies to ensure the long-term availability of published content. Articles are archived in trusted repositories and indexed in databases to safeguard against data loss. These measures ensure the sustainability of the journal’s contributions to research.
18. Manuscript Preparation
