About the Journal

International Journal of Bacteriology and Mycology is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes high-quality manuscripts in all aspects of bacteriology and mycology.

The journal accepts articles concerned with the study of fungi, including their genetic and biochemical properties, their taxonomy and their use to humans as a source for tinder, traditional medicine, food, and entheogens, as well as their dangers, such as toxicity, infection and diseases.

The journal also considers manuscripts dealing with the morphology, ecology, genetics and biochemistry of bacteria as well as many other aspects related to them, including the identification, classification, and characterization of bacterial species.
