The retail has been called location industry. Location is important to retail for which may lead to success
or failure. This paper proposed a location model based on circle theory, and three cases, including WalMart, Carrefour and Metro, were analyzed in Xi’an city. Results indicated that the location model can
provid direction for location to retails.
