Abstract

The health care delivery system represents one of the largest customer service industries in the United
States. The current structure of the system has become highly competitive in the quest to obtain and retain its
customers. Research has indicated there are basic elements needed within a health care organization that can
help assure patient loyalty and retention. This paper is an examination of tactics and strategies that will assist
health care organizations in providing quality care, promoting patient satisfaction and customer loyalty
