Revenue Sources

Elixir Publisher operates under a fully Open Access publishing model. All articles published in our journals are freely available online without subscription fees or access charges for readers. The publisher does not generate revenue from journal subscriptions or pay-per-view access.

The primary source of revenue is Article Processing Charges (APCs) paid by authors, research institutions, funding agencies, or sponsors following the acceptance of a manuscript for publication. APCs help support the costs associated with manuscript submission management, editorial assessment, peer review coordination, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, DOI registration, digital archiving, website maintenance, indexing services, and long-term preservation of published content.

Revenue generated through APCs is reinvested into maintaining and improving the publisher's editorial, technical, and publishing infrastructure. Editorial decisions are made independently of financial considerations, and payment of APCs does not influence the peer-review process or publication decisions.

Elixir Publisher does not receive revenue from subscriptions, advertising, or the sale of published articles. The publisher's funding model is designed to ensure unrestricted access to scholarly research while maintaining high standards of academic publishing.
