Review procedure

The International Journal of Virology and Parasitology employs a rigorous peer-review procedure to ensure the quality and scientific integrity of the manuscripts it publishes. After submission, the editorial team conducts an initial assessment of the manuscript to determine its relevance, clarity, and adherence to the journal’s guidelines. If the manuscript meets these criteria, it is then sent to two or more expert reviewers in the relevant field for in-depth evaluation. The review process is double-blind, meaning that both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. Reviewers assess the quality of the research, including the methodology, data analysis, results, and overall scientific contribution. Based on their feedback, authors may be asked to revise the manuscript to address issues such as clarity, methodological concerns, or improvements in data presentation. Once revisions are submitted, the manuscript may undergo additional rounds of review. The editorial team makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection based on the feedback from reviewers and the quality of the revised manuscript. The entire process is designed to ensure that only high-quality, impactful research is published in the journal.
