Author guidelines

The International Journal of Virology and Parasitology welcomes the submission of original research articles, reviews, and case reports that advance the understanding of virology and parasitology. Authors are required to submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system, ensuring that they adhere to the journal's formatting and style guidelines. All submissions must be written in clear and concise English and should include a structured abstract, followed by the sections: introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusion. Manuscripts should present original research that has not been published or submitted elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources of data, materials, and methodologies are properly cited, and ethical standards are strictly followed, particularly in relation to human and animal studies. Additionally, authors must ensure they have obtained any necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted content, images, or data. The journal encourages authors to include relevant supplementary materials such as figures, tables, and datasets to support their findings. All manuscripts undergo a peer-review process, and authors may be required to revise their submissions based on reviewer feedback to improve the clarity, scientific rigor, and quality of the work. By submitting to the journal, authors confirm that all co-authors have approved the final manuscript and that the research is free from any conflicts of interest.
