The International Journal of Microbiology Research and Reviews (IJMRR) adheres to a meticulous set of editor guidelines to uphold the highest standards of scientific excellence. Upon submission, authors must consolidate the manuscript text, tables, and figures into a single Microsoft Word file, accompanied by a cover letter detailing the names, email addresses, and affiliations of three potential reviewers. An essential criterion is that the manuscript should not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere. Corresponding authors receive a manuscript number within 72 hours of submission.

IJMRR provides two distinct review processes: the regular peer-reviewed route and the Fast Editorial Execution and Review (FEE-Review) process. The regular process entails a pre-review by the handling editor within a period extending up to 45 days. For those opting for the FEE-Review process, an additional $99 fee allows for an expedited review wherein the pre-review response is guaranteed within 3 days, a full review by the reviewer within 5 days, and a final decision within 2 days. This expedited process, though swift, does not compromise on the thoroughness of the review.

Each manuscript undergoes a rigorous assessment by independent reviewers who examine its scientific merit, significance, and originality. Based on the reviewers' feedback, the handling editorial team makes the final acceptance decisions. Authors whose manuscripts require revisions must address the reviewers' comments and resubmit their work for further evaluation. It's important to note that the FEE-Review fee, which covers the expedited review process and quick editorial decisions, is non-refundable even if the manuscript is ultimately rejected or withdrawn.

Upon acceptance, articles undergo meticulous preparation for online publication. This involves formatting the articles into various formats including HTML, XML, and PDF, and ensuring their inclusion in permanent archives. This detailed preparation process serves to enhance the accessibility and readability of the published research.
