Plagiarism/ethics statement

The African Journal of Agricultural Marketing, published by International Scholars Journals (ISJ), maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and unethical publishing practices. As a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ISJ adheres to COPE's Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines, ensuring the integrity of all published work.

Plagiarism Policy:

  • Definition: Plagiarism involves using someone else's ideas, data, or text without proper acknowledgment, presenting them as one's own. This includes copying sentences, paragraphs, or data from other sources without appropriate citation.

  • Consequences: Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism are not considered for publication. The journal employs plagiarism detection tools to screen submissions and uphold academic integrity.

Ethical Standards:

  • Originality: Authors must ensure that their work is original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously is considered unethical.

  • Data Integrity: Authors are expected to present accurate data and results, avoiding fabrication or falsification.

  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors should disclose any financial or personal conflicts that could influence their work.

By adhering to these ethical guidelines, the African Journal of Agricultural Marketing ensures the credibility and reliability of the research it publishes.
