Author guidelines
The African Journal of Malaria and Tropical Diseases invites the submission of original research articles, reviews, and case studies related to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and control of malaria and other tropical diseases. Authors are required to submit their manuscripts electronically through the journal’s online submission system, ensuring that all submissions adhere to the journal's formatting and style guidelines. Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English and must include a structured abstract, followed by sections such as introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusion. All submitted works should represent original research that has not been published or is not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their research complies with ethical standards, particularly regarding human and animal studies, and that proper citations and acknowledgments are included for all sources of data, images, and other materials. Authors should ensure they have obtained any necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted content. The journal encourages the inclusion of supplementary materials such as figures, tables, and datasets that support the findings. Manuscripts undergo a peer-review process, and authors may be asked to revise their work based on reviewer feedback to improve clarity, quality, and scientific rigor. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that all co-authors have approved the final version and that there are no conflicts of interest related to the research
