About the Journal

African Journal of Poultry Farming ISSN 2375-0863 is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to the publication of cutting edge research on all aspects of poultry science.  The journal welcomes original and review articles that report basic and applied findings in the area of poultry physiology, genetics and breeding, nutrition, reproduction, behavior, immune system, preventive hygiene, management, function and utility of product and biotechnology.

All manuscripts, whether solicited or unsolicited, are peer-reviewed by two outstanding reviewers. The evaluation of the manuscripts is made solely on the originality, logic and significance of the contents. If there is an inconsistent evaluation between two reviewers, a third reviewer is selected. 

The mission of this journal is to assemble the most authoritative pool of articles in poultry science and to serve as an international forum for the exchange and dissemination of information in all areas of the subject.
